The walls are 2.60 metres high, the bedrooms and bathrooms are small, the apartment's rear section is buried in the ground. That is the starting position. Therefore, walls are broken down, lintels were demolished. For structural reasons, only one wasn't allowed to disappear. A clever piece of graphics has rescued the situation: the words, in Italian, "I'll come too. No, not you" now stand on the lintel. . Otherwise, floor-to-ceiling fixtures and large sliding doors emphasise the vertical design; the furniture surfaces are finished in dark, glossy mahogany forming a contrast against the white walls. The colour "opens up" the overall apartment from the dark, rear side towards the bright, wide front by giving the horizontal main axis in the rear section a deep black design. Paintings as well as velvet curtains should add a theatrical and energetic effect. The transition from the living area to the kitchen is designed as a filigree shelf. The fireplace is the centre of this "colour dynamic".
