A narrow, steep plot, panoramic, a lot of restrictive regulations, 900 m² floorspace demand.
The concept was to live in a shady, open pavilion over a sunny, big terrace, refreshing in a pool facing the sea. The goal was to create tension between the two areas on the same level and a calm enjoyment of the stunning landscape. Therefore, the colours inside are very quiet and natural but the choice of the elements and materials very precious: BOFFI kitchen, EDRA Sofa, DE PADOVA armchairs, GALLOTTI E RADICE coffee tables, MA/U 4m long dining table, MOROSO chairs & so on. Outside a dark pergola covers a custom-made outdoor kitchen, one-off table and benches, COOLS COLLECTION furniture. In the floor below, where bedrooms, spa and the family’s private spaces are located, and where the sun is not so overwhelming, we like to surprise with interesting colours, rare objects, bespoke manufacturers (master bathroom washbasin), hidden patios and emotion-inducing views – all raising the status of the area to the upper. In the basement two fine apartments for guests and a private cinema with a “botanic club” for family & friends. All around the villa, olive trees, palms, pines & cypresses complete the picture of the "cas botanica“.
